I always wondered about this. If dolphins are nearly intelligent as us (or more, if Douglas Adams was closer to the truth with his satire than we thought)… then it would seem to me to be a little bit unethical to pen them up and make them perform for us.
Here are the 20,000 shipwrecks in US waters. Some of them are still leaking oil, because of Hitler. (No, really, they were sunk by German U-Boats—it’s a serious environmental problem.)
